The E. Carlton Powell & Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Centers
Hospice Centers are often the answer when caring for the patient in the home is no longer feasible. Sometimes the family is no longer able to provide the depth of care that is best for their loved one at this stage in their illness or the disease has progressed to the point that symptoms can be better controlled in a facility.
At our Hospice Centers we provide highly skilled care in a place designed to feel like home. Our goal is providing families with the depth of support they need at a difficult time. Our centers provide families a warm atmosphere and 24-hour care by our highly trained and dedicated staff. Frequently, admissions to our inpatient centers are patients who are already receiving hospice care, but patients can also be admitted directly into the facility. The hospice centers are often used when the home is no longer an appropriate place to receive care.

• Admissions made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• 24 hour coverage by Registered Nurses expertly trained in pain and symptom management
• CNAs for personal care
• Medical Social Worker
• Medical Director for each facility
• Clergy for spiritual care
• Counselors for emotional support & bereavement care
• Chef on site
